Buying Advice - Cases

Many Consumers aren't aware that they can choose a different case for their computer. Unless you'd like to have a computer built from the ground up, you would find little or no practicality from upgrading your case. Your stock case already allows installation of an extra DVD drive and a few additional hard drives. a larger case allows for better airflow throughout the system. Aftermarket cases usually consist of a handful of the following:
  • Side windows to show off lighting modifications
  • Extra fans at the top of the case
  • Top-mounted buttons and USB ports
  • Other colors or clear acrylic
  • Slots for card reader or fan controller
  • Handles for portability
A replacement case emphasizes form over function, but those various forms let you express your creativity.
